Kevin Rye from Think Fan Engagement has contributed extensively to a report on the plans for an Independent Regulator for English football, published by right of centre thinktank, Civitas.
The report, Governing the beautiful game: the future of football in civil society, looks at what the Independent Regulator could – and should – do across a series of issues.
There is an extensive chapter on ‘Communication in English men’s football’, to which Rye contributed insights into communication and fan engagement in football, including the Fan Engagement Index. You can download a copy via this link.
It was authored by football researcher at Civitas, Aaryaman Banerji. Banerji has spent almost a decade working in the football industry as a journalist and coach. During this time, he also completed a master’s degree in History from Durham University, where the focus of his research was the political history of global football. Most recently, he completed the FIFA Master Executive MBA Programme, under the aegis of FIFA and the Centre International d’Etude du Sport.
