Usually we’d have published the Fan Engagement Index by now, but not this year. Wondering why? Wonder no more.
Beginning in 2019, the Fan Engagement Index quickly became the gold standard for Fan Engagement in football, challenging clubs to focus more on their most important stakeholder, the fans. Clubs have risen to the challenge, and we’ve seen improvements across the board as a result. As a result, we’ve decided to make some changes to ensure it’s providing the best possible service to clubs and the wider industry.
This August we’ll be publishing both the fifth Fan Engagement Index (for season 2022/2023) and the new version (for 2023/2024 season) but with some new and exciting features we’re certain that clubs, fans and anyone interested in Fan Engagement will like and find useful.
If you’re from a club
If you’re from a club, we were already in touch earlier this year to give you the chance to comment on what we’d found for 22/23 season. We’ll be in touch again soon to do the same for this season (23/24). Otherwise, you don’t need to do anything more.
If you’re anyone else
Whoever you are, if you want to keep up-to-date with the launch of the Index, keep an eye out for emails and social posts. You can forward this message to anyone else you know, and they can read and subscribe too.
In the meantime, have a look at the previous four years of the Index via this website.
